ETF Score Explained
How the overall score is calculated
Each ETF receives a score from 1–10 based on three properties, each scored on a logarithmic curve relative to all ETFs in the database.
Diversification (45%) —country allocation vs. the global benchmark (50%), number of holdings (25%), and sector concentration (25%).
Cost (30%) —tracking difference (primary), TER, and TD consistency. Weights are dynamically rebalanced based on data availability.
Liquidity (25%) —assets under management, log-scaled.
Each sub-score is scaled 1–10 on a logarithmic curve, then combined into the overall score (also 1–10).
